Attention AOL users:
The AOL Web browser is set to deliver "popunder" ads (that is, ads that are designed to appear discretely in separate browser windows under the Web page you are visiting) in windows over the Web page you are using. This is a setting controlled by AOL. We have notified AOL of the issue, and if this is a problem or concern for you--it affects all sites which deliver popunder ads, not just Intermarkets publishers--please notify AOL of your concern. If you connect to the Web through AOL (dial-up or any other means) you don't have to use the built-in AOL Web browser; you can use the Internet Explorer or Netscape Web browsers and not experience the same interruption. Most PCs are equipped with either or both browsers.

We recognize that some site visitors or users are unwilling or unable to accept the advertising that is presented on Web sites. This is especially vexing for users who have paid for access to Web sites and then feel that they should not be inundated with advertising, and for users whose Web browsers or operating systems cannot handle certain types of advertising. And we sincerely apologize for any disruption or inconvenience any ads may be causing for you.
While we do not control all of the advertising—such as popup or banner ads—on all of our partner Web sites, we do feel obligated as members of the Web community to provide solutions for site visitors and users who object to such advertisements.
Ad blocking help
To block popup and popunder ads, there are a couple of programs that block popup and popunder ads, while leaving the regular, less intrusive ads on Web sites, which helps Web site publishers generate revenue to keep their sites open. Intermarkets, Inc. and our publisher partners cannot guarantee the effectiveness or quality of any of these programs, so we urge you to be careful in your selection. The following is a list of these programs; the programs listed first charge a fee; the others are free. In addition, other resources are available on the Web to provide you with "patches" for your Web browsing software to control and/or block popunder ads. We will soon have a list of links to these patches.
Exit Killer:
Based upon four sensitivity levels, Exit Killer 3.0 provides you with precise control. Each level filters a variety of advertising popups. The highest level prevents any popups. The program can either be activated automatically when you start your computer (default) or it can be activated manually. You have the freedom to disable Exit Killer 3.0 at any given time by right-clicking it in the system tray and choosing the "Disable" option. Click here to check out Exit Killer. Free popup blocking software:
There are many free ad blocking and popup blocking programs available. We have not tested them and cannot say whether or not they work or if there are any bugs in them. Please use extreme caution, and common sense, when downloading, installing and running these programs. Also keep in mind that blocking all ads on Web sites may make it difficult for some Web sites to remain operating. For your convenience, here is a list of some of the free programs available:
