Short- and long-term disability

All full-time employees are eligible for the short-term disability insurance program on the first of the month following their date of hire. Our short term disability plan provides income replacement during absences due to illness, injury, or pregnancy. The benefits are calculated as a percentage of your salary up to a weekly maximum of $300, for up to 26 weeks. The cost of this insurance is fully paid by the company.

All full-time employees are eligible for the long-term disability insurance program on the first of the month following their date of hire. Long-term disability insurance provides eligible employees with a continuing source of income after three consecutive months of total disability. The benefits are calculated as a percentage of your salary. Applications for short- and long-term coverage must be received within 30 days from the date of employment or the employee may enroll during the open enrollment period (August 1 - August 30).
